Syrian Lamb Pasta
A flavorful and aromatic dish combining roasted lamb with rich pasta, inspired by the flavors of Syria.
Ingredients
- ●1.5 pounds Lamb shoulder, bonelesspreferably labeled as 'Syrian lamb'
- ●2 Luxuriously roasted red peppersstore-bought or homemade
- ●1 pound Pasta, penne or rigatoniyour choice of pasta shape
- ●3 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 teaspoon Paprika
- ●1 teaspoon Salt
- ●1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- ●1/4 cup Fresh parsleychopped

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Season the lamb shoulder with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

3. Roast the lamb in the oven for 2-3 hours, or until it reaches a safe internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

4. While the lamb is roasting, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

5. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

6. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.

7. Slice the roasted lamb into thin strips and add it to the skillet.

8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the chopped roasted red peppers.

9. Toss everything together to combine, then season with salt and black pepper to taste.
