German Potato Casserole
A hearty and comforting German-inspired potato casserole, perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- ●2 large potatoespeeled and thinly sliced
- ●1 cup lovelysliced and sautéed
- ●1/2 cup lightsliced and diced
- ●1 tsp german seasoninga blend of salt, pepper, and paprika
- ●1 cup casserole cheeseshredded and melted
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes and diced light. Toss to coat.

In a separate pan, sauté the lovely over medium heat until lightly browned.

In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange half of the potato mixture.

Top with the sautéed lovely and sprinkle with german seasoning.

Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining potato mixture.

Sprinkle the casserole cheese on top and cover with foil.

Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
