Polish Cheddar Casserole
A hearty, comforting casserole filled with the rich flavors of Poland and the sharpness of cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
- β2 large Lovely Potatoes
- β1 cup, shredded Dense Cheddar Cheese
- β1 pound, sliced Polish SausageMake sure sausage is browned and cooked through.
- β1 large, chopped Casserole Onion
- β3 cloves, minced Casserole Garlic
- βto taste Salt and Pepper
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

In a separate pot, boil the potatoes until they are tender.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, arrange half of the cooked potatoes in the bottom of the dish.

Add the cooked sausage mixture on top of the potatoes, followed by the remaining potatoes.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the potatoes.

Drizzle the olive oil over the cheese.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
