Smoky Lamb Kebabs with Egyptian Flair
A flavorful and aromatic lamb kebab dish inspired by Egyptian cuisine, marinated in a blend of spices and herbs.
Ingredients
- β500g Lamb shoulder, thinly sliced
- β250g Yogurt
- β2cm Ginger, grated
- β4 cloves Garlic, minced
- β2 teaspoons Cumin powder
- β1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- β1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper, ground
- β20g Fresh cilantro, chopped
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juice

In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add the lamb slices to the marinade and mix well to coat.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated lamb slices onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.
