Jamaican Cornmeal Fritters

Ingredients

- β1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- β2 teaspoons jerk seasoning
- β1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- β1/4 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- β1 large egg
- β1/2 cup buttermilk
- β2 cups vegetable oil
