Delicious Pad Thai
A classic Thai dish made with stir-fried noodles, vegetables, and a tangy sauce.

Ingredients
- β1 cup Rice noodlessoaked according to package instructions
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilfor stir-frying
- β2 Shallotschopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1/2 cup Tofucubed
- β1 cup Carrotspeeled and grated
- β1 cup Bean sproutschopped
- β2 tablespoons Light brown sugarfor the sauce
- β2 tablespoons Tamarind pastefor the sauce
- β1 tablespoon Fish sauce (optional)for added flavor

Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the shallots and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown.

Add the carrots and bean sprouts and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add the noodles and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together the light brown sugar, tamarind paste, and fish sauce (if using).
