Vietnamese Beef Mi
A Vietnamese-inspired dish featuring grilled beef, served on a bed of mi noodles with fresh herbs and a spicy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound (450g) thinly sliced beefsuch as ribeye or sirloin
- β8 ounces (225g) mi noodlesfresh or dried
- β2 tablespoons light soy sauceor gluten-free alternative
- β2 tablespoons lime juiceor freshly squeezed
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 teaspoon chili flakesor more to taste
- β1 tablespoon fish sauceor gluten-free alternative
- β1/4 cup fresh cilantrochopped

1. Cook the mi noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, and chili flakes. Stir to combine.

3. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

4. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.

5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, grilled beef, and chopped cilantro. Drizzle with the fish sauce and toss to combine.
