Smoked Salmon Pilaf
A flavorful and healthy pilaf dish made with smoked salmon, pilaf rice, and light herbs. This dish is perfect for a light lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- ●6 oz Smoked Salmonpreferably wild-caught
- ●1 cup Pilaf Ricepreferably jasmine or basmati
- ●2 tbsp Light Olive Oilfor sautéing
- ●1 tsp Irish Butteroptional
- ●1 tsp Fresh Dillchopped
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black Pepper

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add 1 cup of pilaf rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.

Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked.

While the rice is cooking, mix 6 oz of smoked salmon with 1 tsp of chopped fresh dill, 1 tsp of Irish butter (if using), salt, and black pepper.

Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and add the smoked salmon mixture on top.
