- β1 pound chicken breast or thighsboneless, skinless
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 inches gingergrated
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons Ethiopian spices (berbere)store-bought or homemade
- β2 cups chicken brothlow-sodium
- β1/2 cup heavy cream or yogurtoptional
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
