Garlicky Turkish Duck Bake
A savory and aromatic dish featuring roasted duck with a tangy twist.
Ingredients
- ●1 whole (2-3 lbs) Duckfresh and patted dry
- ●4 cloves Garlicminced
- ●2 tbsp Light Olive Oilfor brushing
- ●2 tsp Turkish Spicescontaining cumin, paprika, and coriander
- ●1 tsp Saltto taste
- ●1 tsp Pepperto taste
- ●1 tsp Bakegarlic powder

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Rinse the duck and pat it dry with paper towels.

Season the duck with salt, pepper, and Turkish spices.

In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with light olive oil.

Rub the garlic mixture all over the duck, making sure to get some under the skin as well.

Place the duck in a roasting pan and put it in the oven.

Bake the duck for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375°F (190°C).

Continue roasting the duck for another 30-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
