Japanese Yakitori Chicken Skewers
A classic Japanese dish featuring marinated chicken cooked to perfection on skewers. This recipe yields tender, flavorful chicken with a sweet and savory glaze.
Ingredients
- β500g boneless, skinless chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1/4 cup soy sauceor to taste
- β2 tablespoons mirinsweet Japanese cooking wine
- β2 tablespoons sugar
- β1/2 cup green onionsthinly sliced
- β20-25 light skewers
- β1 tablespoon vegetable oil
