Classic Reuben Sandwich
A hearty sandwich filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing, grilled to perfection on rye bread.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Corned beef
- β1 cup Sauerkraut
- β4 slices Swiss cheese
- β2 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
- β4 slices Rye bread
- β2 tbsp Unsalted butter
Instructions

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.

Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the grill.

Top each slice with a slice of cheese, a few slices of corned beef, some sauerkraut, and a dollop of Thousand Island dressing.

Place the remaining two slices of bread, buttered side up, on top of the filling.

Grill for 2-3 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.

Flip the sandwiches over and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown.
