Mexican Chicken Fajitas
A flavorful and spicy dish made with chicken, peppers, onions, and a hint of cumin. Serve with warm flour tortillas and your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
- β1 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips

- β2 2 large bell peppers, sliced
- β2 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- β1 1 tablespoon olive oil
- β1 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- β1 1 teaspoon chili powder
- β1/2 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- β1/4 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- βto taste Salt and pepper, to taste
- β8 8 small flour tortillas
- βto taste Optional toppings: avocado, sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro, salsa

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Add the cumin, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables and spices.

Warm the flour tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
