Chinese-Style Glazed Tacos
A fusion of Chinese and Mexican flavors, featuring glazed pork and crispy tacos.
Ingredients
- β500g Ground Pork
- β2 tbsp Lacqueroptional
- β1/4 cup Glazed
- β8-10 Tacos
- β1 tsp Mexican Seasoning
- β1/2 cup Morbier Cheeseshredded
- β1/4 cup Cilantrochopped
- β2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- β1 tsp Brown Sugar
- β1 tsp Rice Vinegar
- β2 tbsp Water

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, Mexican seasoning, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and lacquer (if using).

Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Add the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, cook the tacos according to package instructions.

To assemble the tacos, place a spoonful of the glazed pork onto a taco shell.

Top with shredded Morbier cheese, chopped cilantro, and a drizzle of glazed sauce (see below).

Glazed sauce: In a small saucepan, combine glaze, water, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened.
