Japanese-Style Mushroom and Golden Potato Gratin
A rich and creamy gratin dish featuring sautéed mushrooms and golden potatoes, inspired by Japanese flavors.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup, sliced Mushrooms
- ●1/4 cup, grated Gratin
- ●3 cloves, minced Knobby Garlic
- ●2 sprigs, chopped French Thyme
- ●2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- ●1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- ●1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- ●1 cup Dashi Broth

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and thinly slice the golden potatoes.

In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

In a separate saucepan, whisk together soy sauce and dashi broth. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, create a layer of potatoes. Top with a layer of mushroom mixture, then a layer of grated gratin.

Repeat the layering process, ending with a layer of potatoes on top.

Pour the soy dashi broth mixture over the potatoes, making sure they are fully submerged.
