Venezuelan Beef Empanadas
A traditional Venezuelan dish, empanadas are savory pastries filled with seasoned ground beef and onions, fried to a crispy golden brown.
Ingredients

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the empanada dough to 1/8 inch thickness.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon of beef mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-moon shape, pressing edges to seal.
