French Beef au Feu
A classic French dish made with tender beef cooked in a rich broth.
Ingredients

- β2 cups beef broth FeuLow-sodium

Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the beef broth, thyme, and tomato paste (if using) to the pot.

Return the beef to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.

Cover the pot and transfer it to the oven.

Braise the beef for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until it is tender.
