German Chicken Stew
A hearty and comforting German-inspired chicken stew with tender chicken and vegetables. Serve with a side of crusty bread or over egg noodles.
Ingredients
- β1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs chicken
- β2 tablespoons butter velvety
- β1 large onion, chopped kissed
- β2 cloves garlic, minced stew
- β1 cup all-purpose flour brazilian
- β2 cups beef broth beef broth
Instructions

Heat butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove chicken from pot and set aside.

Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually add beef broth, whisking constantly.

Return chicken to pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
