Portuguese Mousse Kisses
A sweet and tangy dessert featuring a rich caramel topping and a light, airy mousse base.
Ingredients
- β8 ounces Portuguese Kissed Chocolate
- β1 cup Heavy Cream
- β1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- β4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- β1/2 cup Caramel Sauce
- β1/4 cup Confectioners' Sugar
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1. In a double boiler or a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, melt the chocolate, stirring occasionally.

2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.

3. In another bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract.

4. Fold the sugar mixture into the whipped cream until well combined.

5. Fold the melted chocolate into the cream mixture until well combined.

6. Spoon the mousse into individual serving cups or ramekins.

7. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

8. Just before serving, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of each mousse.
