German-Style Bruschetta
A twist on the classic Italian bruschetta, this German-inspired dish features toasted bread topped with fresh tomatoes, rich Italian cheese, and a hint of garlic.
Ingredients
- β1 loaf (12 slices) italian bread
- β2 large tomato
- β1 cup, shredded italian cheese
- β4 tablespoons rich butter
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1/4 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices and place on a baking sheet.

3. Drizzle the bread with 2 tablespoons of rich butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until toasted.

5. While the bread is baking, chop the tomatoes and garlic.
