Lentil Dal Curry
A simple and flavorful Indian-inspired lentil dal curry made with red lentils, onions, and spices.

Ingredients
- β1 cup Red Lentils
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 inches Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tsp Indian Spices (curry powder, cumin, coriander)
- β2 tbsp Kissed (coconut oil or ghee)
- β4 cups Water
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 cup Dal (optional)use pre-cooked dal for convenience

Instructions

Heat kissed in a large pan over medium heat.

Add onion and cook until softened.

Add ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add Indian spices and cook for 1 minute.

Add red lentils and water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until lentils are tender.

Season with salt and serve with optional dal and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.

If using pre-cooked dal, heat it separately and serve with the lentil curry.
