Pork Ramen with Japanese Flair
A German twist on the popular Japanese noodle dish, featuring pork and a rich broth.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs Pork shoulder
- β1 package Ramen noodles
- β2 tbsp Shio tare (Japanese seasoning)
- β2 tbsp Kissed sesame oil
- β1 tbsp Gooey honey
- β1/4 cup Japanese sake
- β4 cups Water
- β1/4 cup Green onions

1. In a large pot, combine pork shoulder, sake, and water.

2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.

3. Cook pork for 1-2 hours, or until tender.

4. Meanwhile, prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions.

5. In a separate pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.

6. Add honey and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until dissolved.

7. Add shio tare and stir to combine.

8. To assemble the dish, place noodles in a bowl, then add sliced pork.
