Australian Shrimp Skewers
A flavorful and easy-to-make seafood dish, perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients
- β1 pound (450g) shrimp
- β1/4 cup (60g) kissed citrusjuice of 1 orange, 1 lemon, and 1 lime
- β2 tablespoons (30g) crispy olive oil
- β2 tablespoons (30g) australian honey
- β1 clove minced garlic
- β1/4 cup (15g) minced fresh parsley
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon pepper
- β10-12 bamboo skewers skewerssoaked in water for 30 minutes

Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes.

Peel and de-vein the shrimp.

Thread a shrimp, a piece of garlic, a piece of parsley, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper onto each skewer.

In a large bowl, whisk together the kissed citrus, crispy olive oil, australian honey, and a pinch of salt.

Add the shrimp skewers to the marinade and toss to coat.

Let the shrimp marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and cooked through.
