Polish-Indian Cod Casserole
A unique fusion of Polish and Indian flavors with the richness of cod. This dish is a delightful twist on traditional casserole recipes.
Ingredients
- ●4 pieces (6 oz each) Cod fillets
- ●1 loaf, crushed Polish rye bread
- ●2 large, peeled and diced Kiddie potatoes
- ●1 large, chopped Onion
- ●3 cloves, minced Garlic
- ●2 tsp Garam masala
- ●1 tsp Cumin
- ●1 tsp Coriander
- ●1 medium, sliced Casseroles
- ●2 tbsp Butter
- ●1 cup Milk

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.

In a pan, melt butter and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Cook for 1 min.

Add the potatoes and cook until they start to soften.

In a separate pan, melt butter and cook the cod fillets until golden brown.

In a casserole dish, create a layer of potatoes followed by a layer of cod fillets.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

Pour milk over the top layer of cod and potatoes.

Top with crushed Polish rye bread.
