Delicious Kicked Up Turkish Chicken Kebabs
A flavorful twist on traditional Turkish kebabs, featuring tender chicken and a kick of spice.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1/4 cup Turkish bread crumbsgluten-free
- β2 tablespoons Olive oilfor brushing kebabs
- β2 teaspoons Kicked up spice blendsee notes
- βto taste Salt and pepper
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 Red bell pepperseeded and chopped
- β1 Yellow onionchopped

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400Β°F).

Thread chicken, onion, and red bell pepper onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, kicked up spice blend, salt, and pepper.

Brush the spice mixture onto both sides of the chicken.

Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.

Meanwhile, mix together lemon juice and garlic in a small bowl.

Brush the lemon mixture onto the kebabs during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Note: For kicked up spice blend, combine 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon ground cumin, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small bowl.
