Syrian Flatbread with Caramelized Onion and Thyme
A French-inspired flatbread topped with caramelized onions and thyme, perfect for a quick snack or light meal.

- β1 piece syrian flatbreadcrushed into crumbs
- β1 medium onionthinly sliced
- β2 sprigs fresh thymechopped
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor brushing
- β saltto taste

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Transfer the pastry to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the pastry with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

Caramelize the sliced onions in a skillet over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
