Beef Tagine Roulades with German Seasonings
A twist on traditional German beef roulades with the bold flavors of a Brazilian tagine. A hearty dish perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- ●1 lb juicy beef tenderloinsliced into 1-inch thick pieces
- ●2 tsp brazilian tagine spice blend
- ●1 tsp german seasonings (salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary)
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●2 tbsp olive oil
- ●1 cup white winedry
- ●1 cup beef broth

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the beef with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Sear the beef until browned on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the beef to a baking dish.

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the Brazilian tagine spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add the white wine and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Bring the liquid to a simmer and cook until reduced by half, about 5 minutes.

Pour the tagine sauce over the beef and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the beef reaches an internal temperature of 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
