Spicy Ethiopian Chickpea Stew

- β2 cups, drained and rinsed chickpeas
- β1 medium, diced onion
- β2 inches, grated ginger
- β3 cloves, minced garlic
- β1 teaspoon spicy red pepper flakes
- β1 teaspoon ground cumin
- β1 teaspoon berbere spiceadjust to taste
- β2 cups chickpea broth
- β2 tablespoons tomato paste
- β1 tablespoon olive oil

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
