Korean Pork Dumplings
A traditional Korean dish featuring juicy pork dumplings, typically served as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Pork80% lean
- β20 pieces Gyoza Wrappersavailable at most Asian markets
- β1 bunch Green Onionchopped
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β2 tablespoons Soy Saucepreferably Korean chili flake-infused
- β1 tablespoon Sesame Oilfor brushing gyoza wrappers

In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.

Add the grated ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the chopped green onion, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

Lay a gyoza wrapper on a clean surface and place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point.

Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

In a large pot of boiling water, cook the dumplings for 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.
