Japanese-Style Inari Zushi
A classic Japanese sweet tofu pouch dessert, typically served as a snack or dessert. In this recipe, we're combining the sweetness of inari with the juiciness of orange.
Ingredients
- β6-8 pouches Inari tofu pouches
- β1/4 cup Orange marmalade
- β2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- β2 tablespoons Water
- β2 tablespoons Orange juice
- β1 teaspoon Matcha powder
- βpinch Salt
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

In a small saucepan, combine orange marmalade, granulated sugar, water, orange juice, and matcha powder.

Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.

Remove from heat and stir in a pinch of salt.

Cut the inari tofu pouches in half lengthwise.

Place the pouches in a shallow dish and brush the orange marmalade mixture evenly over both sides of the tofu.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the tofu.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
