British Fish & Chips
A classic British dish featuring battered fish, crispy chips, and a side of malt vinegar.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup FlourAll-purpose flour for dusting.
- ●1 cup Batter MixStore bought or homemade mix.
- ●1/2 cup Vegetable OilFor frying.
- ●1 bag Chips (Fries)Thick-cut chips for this recipe.

- ●2 tbsp Malt VinegarFor serving.
- ●4 Lemon WedgesFor serving.
Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (180°C).

Prepare the batter according to the package instructions.

Dust the cod fillets with flour.

Dip the floured cod in the batter, coating evenly.

Carefully place the battered cod in the hot oil.

Fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the cod from the oil with a slotted spoon.

Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C) for frying the chips.

Cut the chips into 1/2-inch thick sticks.

Fry the chips in batches until crispy and golden brown.
