Argentinian Chorizo Empanadas
A classic Argentinian dish featuring chorizo sausage wrapped in crispy empanada dough.
Ingredients
- β1 pound, sliced Juicy Argentinian Chorizo
- β1 package (homemade or store-bought) Empanada DoughThaw dough if frozen
- β1, beaten Egg
- β1 tablespoon Water
- β1/4 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out empanada dough to 1/4-inch thickness.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a few slices of chorizo in the center of each dough circle.

Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-circle, pressing edges to seal.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with water and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
