German Roast Pork
A classic German-inspired dish featuring a tender and juicy roasted pork shoulder.
Ingredients
- β2 lbs pork shoulder
- β1 cup roasted german beer
- β2 cups roasted vegetables
- β2 tsp jubilant spices
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp pepper
- β3-4 medium roast potatoes

Preheat oven to 325Β°F (165Β°C).

Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, and jubilant spices.

Heat the roasted german beer in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork shoulder until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the pork to a plate and set aside.

Add the roasted vegetables and roast potatoes to the pot, cooking for 5 minutes.

Return the pork to the pot and add enough liquid to cover the bottom of the pot.

Cover the pot with a lid and transfer to the preheated oven.

Braise the pork for 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until tender and easily shredded with a fork.
