Kenyan Beef Lasagna
A fusion of Kenyan flavors in a classic Italian dish. This Beef Lasagna recipe combines the bold tastes of Kenya with the comforting familiarity of lasagna.

- β1 lb Ground beef80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp MustardKenyan-style mustard
- β1 tsp Jovial Kenyan spicesadjust to taste
- β1 cup Beef brothlow-sodium
- β1 cup Lasagna cheese blendshredded mozzarella and parmesan

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the Kenyan-style mustard, jovial Kenyan spices, and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let cook for 2-3 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked lasagna noodles, the beef mixture, and the shredded lasagna cheese blend. Mix well to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
