Jerk Tagine Chicken
A fusion of Jamaican and North African flavors, this dish combines the spicy jerk seasoning with the richness of feta cheese.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Chicken breasts
- β2 tablespoons Jerk seasoning
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Feta cheese
- β1 cup Tagine sauce

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.

Sprinkle the jerk seasoning over the chicken and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and top with feta cheese.

Pour the tagine sauce over the chicken and cover with foil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
