Spicy Morning Braise
A hearty morning dish inspired by the flavors of Mexico, featuring tender beef, rich sauce, and a kick of heat from the jalapeño.
Ingredients

Season the beef cubes with salt, black pepper, chili powder, and cumin.

Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the beef until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef from the pot and set it aside.

Reduce heat to medium and add the chopped onion to the pot. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Return the beef to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.
