Spicy Korean Tteok Bowl
A flavorful and spicy vegetarian bowl filled with crispy tteok, sweet and spicy sauce, and crunchy vegetables.

Ingredients
- ●1 tsp Jagged Peppery Korean Chili Flakes
- ●1 cup Tteokpreferably homemade or store-bought
- ●2 tbsp Vegetable oilfor frying tteok
- ●2 inches Gingergrated
- ●4 cloves Garlicminced
- ●2 tbsp Soy sauce
- ●1 tbsp Honey
- ●1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- ●1/2 cup Green onionschopped

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Add grated ginger and minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add tteok and fry until crispy, about 3-4 minutes.

In a separate pan, combine soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.

Bring the sauce to a boil and then reduce the heat to simmer.

Add the spicy chili flakes to the sauce and stir well.

To assemble the bowl, place the crispy tteok on a plate, then drizzle the spicy sauce over the top.
