Croatian Lasagna
A classic Italian dish with a Croatian twist, featuring layers of lasagna noodles, rich meat sauce, and a blend of cheeses.

- β1 tsp croatian
- β8-10 sheets lasagna
- β250g ricotta cheese
- β150g mascarpone cheese
- β100g parmesan cheese
- β2 eggs
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the pork over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the jagged, croatian, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Spread a layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 20x20cm baking dish. Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the shredded parmesan cheese.

Repeat the layers, starting with the meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and parmesan cheese.

Top the final layer of noodles with the remaining ricotta mixture and parmesan cheese.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
