Smoky Jamaican Flatbread Tacos
A twist on traditional tacos, using flatbread as the shell and filled with intensely smoky Jamaican jerk chicken.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- β2 tablespoons Smoky Jamaican jerk seasoning
- β4-6 flatbreads Sesame seed flatbread
- β1 medium Red onion
- β1/4 cup Cilantro
- β4-6 Lime wedges
- β1-2 teaspoons Jamaican hot sauceoptional
- βto taste Salt and pepper
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seedsoptional garnish
Instructions

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together jerk seasoning and lime juice.

3. Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat.

4. Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

5. Meanwhile, toast the flatbreads by grilling or baking for 2-3 minutes.

6. Slice the red onion and cilantro.

7. Warm the flatbreads by wrapping them in foil and heating them in the oven for 2-3 minutes.

8. Assemble the tacos by placing a piece of chicken on each flatbread.

9. Top with red onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.

10. Serve with Jamaican hot sauce on the side, if desired.
