Smoky German Pork Chops
A classic German dish featuring smoky pork chops grilled to perfection. Served with a side of sauerkraut and potatoes.
Ingredients
- β4 (1-inch thick) Pork Chops
- β2 tsp Croatian Smoked Paprika
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black Pepper
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 cup Beer
- β4 tbsp Butter
- β4 medium Potatoes
- β1 cup Sauerkraut

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork chops.

4. Grill the pork chops for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145Β°F.

5. While the pork chops are cooking, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

6. Add the garlic to the saucepan and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.

7. Add the beer to the saucepan and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced by half.

8. Brush the pork chops with the beer sauce during the last minute of cooking.

9. Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

10. While the pork chops are resting, boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until they are tender.

11. Drain the potatoes and toss them with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
