Turkish Lentil Pilaf
A hearty and flavorful vegan pilaf made with lentils, savory spices, and a hint of Turkish flair.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup Turkish Pilaf Ricepreferably with a low sodium content
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 tsp Cumin
- ●1 tsp Paprika
- ●to taste Salt
- ●2 cups Water

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the cumin and paprika and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the lentils, rice, salt, and water to the saucepan.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.

Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the lentils and rice are tender.

Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
