Roasted Chicken with Italian Flair
A classic roasted chicken dish with an Italian twist, featuring intensely roasted flavors and a hint of Brazilian spice.
Ingredients

- ●2 tbsp roastItalian seasoning
- ●2 tbsp intenselyolive oil

- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 large onionchopped
- ●1 medium lemonjuiced

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together the Italian seasoning, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get some under the skin as well.

Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and sprinkle with minced garlic.

Place the chopped onion inside the chicken cavity.

Squeeze the lemon juice over the chicken and sprinkle with chopped onion.

Truss the chicken with kitchen twine and place it in a roasting pan.

Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
