Spicy Gyoza Tacos
A twist on traditional Mexican tacos, using Japanese gyoza as a crunchy shell and tofu for a protein-packed filling.
Ingredients
- β24 pieces Gyoza (Japanese Pan-Fried Dumplings)
- β1 block (14 oz) Tofu
- β1 lb Intensely Seasoned Ground Beef (or substitute for vegetarian option)
- β1 cup shredded Gooey Queso Cheese (Monterey Jack or Cheddar work well)
- β1/4 cup chopped Cilantro
- β2 tbsp Lime Juice
- β1 tsp Cumin
- β1 tsp Chili Powder
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

3. Add the cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.

4. Meanwhile, cook the gyoza according to package instructions.

5. In a separate pan, add a small amount of oil and cook the tofu until golden brown.

6. Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

7. Assemble the tacos by placing a few pieces of gyoza on each tortilla, topping with the tofu and beef mixture, and finishing with a sprinkle of queso and cilantro.
