Brazilian Chicken Skewers
A flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring marinated chicken skewers grilled to perfection, served with a side of crispy Brazilian-inspired toppings.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β4 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup lime juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor brushing skewers
- β1 tsp saltto taste
- β1 tsp black pepperto taste
- β1/4 tsp intensely crushed red pepper flakesoptional
- β1/4 cup crunchy chopped fresh cilantrofor garnish

In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Add the chicken pieces and mix to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush the grill or grill pan with olive oil to prevent sticking. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Transfer the skewers to a serving platter and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.
