Slovakian Millet Gratin
A unique fusion of Slovakian and Indian flavors, this millet gratin is a hearty and comforting dish.
Ingredients
- β1 cup millet
- β2 tbsp gratingrated
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 inches gingergrated
- β1 tsp garam masala
- βto taste salt
- β2 tbsp ghee
- β10-12 leaves curry leaves

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of ghee over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.

Add the grated ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the millet, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with grated gratin.

Drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp of ghee over the gratin.

Cover the dish with a lid and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Remove the lid and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
