Turkish Doner Kebab Tacos
A fusion of Mexican and Turkish flavors, this dish combines the classic doner kebab with the vibrant flavors of Mexico.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Turkish Doner Kebab Meat (Lamb or Beef)
- β8-10 Tortillas
- β1/4 cup Cilantrochopped
- β2 tablespoons Lime Juice
- β1 cup Salsa Roja
- β1 cup Mexican Cheese (Queso Fresco)shredded
- β1/2 cup Chopped Onions
- β1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- β2 tablespoons Water
- β1 teaspoon Cumin

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Slice the Turkish Doner Kebab Meat into thin strips.

Grill the meat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

Assemble the tacos by placing a few slices of the grilled meat onto a tortilla, followed by a spoonful of salsa roja, some chopped onions and tomatoes, and a sprinkle of cheese.
