Sweet Date Tagine
A rich and intense keto dessert inspired by Moroccan cuisine. The sweet dates and tagine spices create a unique flavor combination.
Ingredients
- β1 cup pitted Dates
- β2 tsp Tagine spice blend
- β1 cup Almond flour
- β1/4 cup melted Coconut oil
- β4 Large eggs
- β1/4 cup Sweetener (e.g. stevia or erythritol)
- β1/2 tsp Salt

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine almond flour, tagine spice blend, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together melted coconut oil, eggs, and sweetener.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Pit the dates and chop them into small pieces.

Add the chopped dates to the dough and mix until well combined.

Spoon the dough into a greased 9-inch (23cm) round cake pan.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
