Argentinian Italian Casserole
A savory casserole dish with a blend of Italian and Argentinian flavors. Perfect for a hearty dinner.

- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tablespoons Tomato PasteDried
- β1 can (28 oz) Canned Crushed TomatoesSalt-free
- β1/4 cup Argentinian Salsa CriollaHomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Mozzarella CheeseShredded
- β1/2 cup Parmesan CheeseShredded
- β8 oz Pasta (Elbow Macaroni)Cooked al dente

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add canned crushed tomatoes and Argentinian salsa criolla to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Stir in cooked pasta, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Top the pasta mixture with additional mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
