Grilled Malaysian Fish with Intense Chilli Sauce
A spicy and flavourful dish inspired by the cuisine of Malaysia, featuring grilled fish and an intense chilli sauce.
Ingredients
- β400g Fish Fillets (4)Any firm white fish such as snapper or grouper works well
- β1/4 cup Lime JuiceFreshly squeezed
- β2 tbsp Coconut OilFor grilling
- β1/4 cup Intense Chilli Sauce (see below for recipe)*Note: see intense chilli sauce recipe*
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh CilantroFor garnish
- βto taste Salt and Pepper

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together lime juice and a pinch of salt. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.

3. Place the fish on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

4. Meanwhile, heat the coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the intense chilli sauce and stir to combine.

5. Once the fish is cooked, brush the intense chilli sauce over the top of each fillet.

6. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
