Jamaican Steak Kebabs
Sweet and spicy Jamaican-style steak kebabs perfect for a quick dinner. Marinated in a mix of Jamaican jerk seasoning, brown sugar, and citrus juice.
Ingredients
- β1 pound sirloin steakcut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tablespoons Jamaican jerk seasoning
- β1 tablespoon brown sugar
- β2 tablespoons orange juice
- β1 tablespoon soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons coconut oil
- β1 medium onioncut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 medium bell peppercut into 1-inch pieces
- β2-3 intense chili peppersdepending on desired heat level

In a large bowl, whisk together jerk seasoning, brown sugar, orange juice, and soy sauce. Add the sirloin cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove the sirloin from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Thread the sirloin, onion, bell pepper, and chili peppers onto skewers. Brush with coconut oil.

Grill the kebabs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the sirloin reaches an internal temperature of 135Β°F for medium-rare.

Let the kebabs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve hot with additional jerk seasoning or hot sauce on the side, if desired.
